Why Ledger Live shows "App version outdated" when trying to send bitcoin even after bitcoin app was updated on my nano S? Is it because my nano S firmware is outdated (1.5.5 version) when version 1.6.1 is available? Thanks.

No, I’m not talking about scam risks. My wonder is that, at least in the US,isn’t sending from a kyc exchange dangerous? If you don’t know someone and they illicitly use your funds, could prosecutors charge you and case closed? Or do they have to find physical evidence of this crime? I haven’t done anything wrong but I’m afraid of sending bitcoin as a tip for artists or even redditors. Love to know your thoughts! P.S. Not trying to use bitcoin mixers

Hey, I'm having an issue sending out my bitcoin because the firmware is outdated. My issue is I've lost my phrases, I've been moving a lot and kept it in a specific book. Somehow along my journeys the book is gone. Now the bitcoin is still in my ledger as I have the password. I'm just not able to send it out to reset the ledger. Firmware is 1.1.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes I will store my phrase in multiple spots as to avoid this. Yes I know it was a bad move. Please keep those comments to yourself.
Recently got into trading and sending Bitcoin, without research decided to try and send BTC to a mixer and (despite 151 confirmations) the mixer has yet to display the funds I sent
I sent a fair amount of BTC to "Bitcoin Blender" ([bitcoin-blender .com] is the non tor link) and have I haven't received any kind of indication from that site that it made it there to the blender wallet. I have confirmation from my blockchain and the place I sent the coin from (Coinbase, yeah ik it's pretty basic) but I can't get confirmation from bitcoin blender. Does anybody have any experience with that mixer in particular and have I made a huge mistake? I'm thinking of switching to wasabi but I want to know if I've screwed the pooch before I keep thinking of even doing this.
